The Hate Story series is very famous movie series in India. It is based on the book of the same name which was written by Indian author Radhika Sanghani. She wrote the first book, which was released in 2012, and then she wrote two more books of this series.Delhi Aunty’s director Sriram Raghavan has officially announced that the third book of this "Hate Story" trilogy will be released on 26 September 2016 with Emraan Hashmi playing Henry Golding's male lead again. The female lead of this movie will be played by Urvashi Rautela. This movie will be released on digital platform only. It was released on 13 December 2017 on Netflix with an adult certificate.The story is about a student, whose name is Neha Sharma (Urvashi Rautela), and she is an average woman who has also faced troubles of her life and she had to bear the torture and harassment of the society, and she is tired of fighting with people of the society. So she decides to seek revenge from all of them by writing a book that will be very controversial in nature. The story revolves around 3 main characters, they are Arjun (Emraan Hashmi), Neha (Urvashi Rautela) and Sasha (Kirti Kulhari). Arjun lives in London and wants to become a rich man, so he will do anything for money. On the other side, Sasha is an Indian girl who is studying Business Studies at India College. She loves her parents a lot as they always supports her in all the decisions of her life. But even she has a big secret about herself, which can affect her family’s life badly. So the story brings all these 3 characters in a very dangerous situation.
The movie was released in more than 2000 theatres in India, and also this movie was released on Netflix. The song was an instant hit and became a chartbuster in the digital music market when its music video was released by Zee Music Company on 28 June 2017. The song's music video got over 8 million views within 24 hours of its release, making it one of the highest viewed Bollywood songs in 2017 so far.
